A manufacturer of foam rubber and extrusion rubber approached us to integrate a complete post-processing solution at the end of their line. The requirements were:

• Adhesive application and drying
• Band cooling
• Protective film application
• Longitudinal and transverse cutting on the fly

All of this without production interruption, a major challenge for this type of application.

We proposed a hybrid solution combining:

• I-ECAM camera for width measurement and servo control
• Conveyor belts with loop control
• AI algorithm for automatic edge detection

3.High-performance Cutting System

• Transverse cutting at 120 cuts/min
• 500kg electric press with 0.1mm precision
• Longitudinal cutting with evacuation belt

This CNM Process solution enables continuous 2×8 production with sub-millimeter cutting precision, even on sensitive materials. The line operates at a speed of 10m/min for components ranging from 50mm to 2m, thanks to a 500kg press with 0.1mm precision. The intelligent control system ensures complete traceability via touchscreens, allowing optimal control without production interruptions.
